CAT6a Extension Kit – Low Smoke Pure Copper CAT6a Shielded Cable Supplied
Why Buy - The cable can be cut to the length required during installation for a professional finish. This kit is supplied with the highest grade pure copper, low smoke, CAT6a shielded cable, for running from a network point such as a network switch or router to another location where either internet or network access is required (commonly installed when wireless is not possible).
The network face plates have a colour coded wiring diagram on the rear (TIA/EIA-568-B) and thanks to the tool-less design of the wall plates, no IDC punch down tool is required to attach the CAT6a cores to the wall plate (wiring instructions shown in pictures above). Standard pre-terminated CAT6a cables can then be connected to both the face plates to make a high quality CAT6a extension capable of 10Gbps.
PLEASE NOTE – The cable supplied is not suitable for outdoor use.
The wall plates and cables are also fully shielded. This means you don’t have to worry about any unwanted interference from power cables, your install will be fully protected.
