10A Outdoor Rated Wall Mounted Photocell – Auto Dusk/Dawn Light Switch & Timer
Please note – 4 Terminals on back - Load in, Load out, Neutral in & Neutral out (Neutrals must always be connected).
Overview – This photocell switch is ideal for areas where lights are only required when an area falls below a certain daylight level (dusk for example). You can install this outdoors safely thanks to the unit being weatherproof IP44. Simply set your Lux & Timer setting to suit your requirements:
Lux – This is the level of light that will trigger the photocell to switch on your lights. You can adjust the lux levels so that your lights come on earlier or later.
Timer – When the switch is triggered, it will keep your lights on for a certain period of time. This switch has the following timer settings: 1h, 2h, 3h, 4h, 5h, 6h, 7h, 8h, 9h & a dusk till dawn setting. This will turn off the lights as the sun rises and lux levels rise above your selected lux setting.
This light switch can be used as a replacement or new switch with a 250V rated consumer unit (fuse box) as found in most UK houses.
This kit is supplied with wall mounting screws. There are 2 blowout holes on the back of the unit and there is a weatherproof cable entry point on the bottom of the unit so that you have multiple options for wiring this up. Easy access screw terminals also make for quick & safe installation of power cables.
