Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) shielding - All electronic devices give off electromagnetic emissions. To stop the DVI cable being affected by these emissions, it is shielded with high density EMI shielding suppressors. This prevents data loss from the cable and increases picture quality. Please see our picture to fully appreciate the thickness of our cable due to the triple high density shielding.

Radio frequency Interference (RFI) shielding -Many different things contribute to RFI interference such as mobile phones, radios, fluorescent lights and many weather conditions. The RFI high density shielding suppressors stop the cable being affected by this interference. The high density RFI shielding suppressors stop fluctuations in the signal quality so the signal has fewer defects, thus producing a much cleaner and crisp overall signal.

DVI-A (analogue) – Digital single link and dual link have been ignored in this cable. This is due to the fact that they are not compatible with a component RGB signal so they are of no use. Therefore, other companies that claim that this type of cable/adapter are single or dual link are making empty promises, as that type of signal does not get transmitted.

The DVI-A connector sends the signal to a component video (RGB/YPrPb) signal that has been separated into 3 constituent components, red, green and blue. Each constituent part of the cable is stored as 3 separate signals therefore stopping any local signal interfering and a purer signal is achieved.

Cable supports - 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p resolutions.

Matching Impedance - The cable has been made with dielectric material to maintain the 75ohm impedance across the cable and increase signal quality.

Gold plated connectors - Solid metal alloy with a 24 carat gold plating. These interconnects don’t have a lacquer protection because they do not need it (gold will not tarnish). 24 carat gold achieves better conductivity when lacquer is not in use and provides a better signal with minimal loss of quality.

Cable strain relief to protect the cable - Enables the cable to be bent in a multitude of directions without breaking, unlike many leads sold by different companies.

OFC - oxygen free copper to increase signal quality across the length of the cable.

Function - Our adapter has been designed to transfer high-bandwidth, high quality, uninterrupted analogue signals. Please remember that DVI cables don’t transfer audio signals. If you want sound, you will usually require a ‘2 phono male to 2 phono male’ lead, which we also have in stock. If you are unsure which cable you require, please ask!

Can be used with? - This adapter works with all analogue devices that have DVI-A outputs and inputs. Please remember that analogue and digital devices cannot be used in conjunction with each other. For example, a computer that is producing a digital DVI signal cannot be used with a projector that only accepts an analogue DVI signal. This information can usually be found in the manual that comes with your equipment. Examples of equipment that use this adapter are; LCD monitors used for computers or just as TVs. Some HDTVs, Graphics cards, projectors, XBOX 360s, Wiis. For instance, the DVI-A male connection on this adapter could be plugged into a projector (that is analogue compatible), to create 3 RCA female sockets (RGB).
