Excellent standard of manufacture Balanced Connection - XLR PIN 2 is connected to the Tip (of the 6.35mm Plug), XLR PIN 3 is connected to the Ring, XLR PIN 1 is connected to the Sleeve. This adapter is used to plug into a 6.35mm Jack (large headphone socket) to create a XLR female connection and can be used in both directions.
