IR control allows you to manage the equipment connected to your transmitter via the receiver with your remote control. Ideal for those wanting to connect televisions in different parts of the house, where wiring is not an option, these wireless sender units will allow you to transmit the output of your playback device to your TV without the use of any cabling. Coupled with a camera, these wireless units can also serve as an excellent baby monitor or CCTV system. Multiple TVs? Along with small, lightweight construction, the AV transmitter also features 4 switchable channels, allowing one device to transmit to multiple TV sets, enabling you to send a signal from one transmitter (for example, connected to the output of a Sky receiver or DVD player,) to multiple receivers (multiple screens). Simply select the same channel on the transmitter and all the receivers. Unfortunately the units are only sold in sets and an extra receiver cannot be purchased separately. The same principle can also allow you to use multiple pairs of senders and receivers without them interfering with one another. For example, if you have a Blu-Ray player and a games console in the living room, you could send the Blu-Ray signal to one TV, and the games console signal to another, just by using the switchable channels to pair each transmitter with the appropriate receiver. Installation Setup is straightforward and easy with this kit, simply plug the wireless SCART ‘Sender’ unit into the output of the playback device (DVD etc.) and the ‘Receiver’ unit into the SCART socket into your TV. Connect both units to mains power outlets, using the supplied AC adapters, and you’re ready to watch! To set up the IR system, plug the IR receiver into the receiver and the IR emitter into the transmitter and position the IR receiver in front of your TV and the IR emitter in front of your playback device. Now, you will also be able to use the remote for your playback device from the other room! Why Buy? These units use the 2.4Ghz wireless protocol to transfer the audio visual data, and the ‘Phase-Locked Loop’ circuit design automatically corrects transfer errors to reduce noise and jitter, ensuring a strong, interference-free signal. Other wireless AV transmitters can be susceptible to signal degradation as a result of nearby mobile phones, radios and CBs. As this sender and receiver kit uses the 2.4Ghz frequency, it is nearer to a wireless PC router, and not within the same frequency range. The connector also features the innovative ‘SCART-Lock’ system, holding the gold-plated connector secure, preventing the unit from working itself loose. Their slim-line design measures only 100x60x20mm, which means you’re unlikely to have any issues with space behind your set, but if you do, one of our Scart couplers and cables will allow you to locate it elsewhere, alternatively, we can supply a SCART swivel adapter that will allow it to sit flat against the back of your set.
