Induction Loop Amplifiers

Induction loop systems allow people with hearing disabilities to still hear announcements. To set a system up, loop cable should be run around the perimeter of the room from the loop amplifier. Our loop amplifier can cover an area of 600m² which means it is suitable for use with cable lengths of up to 98 metres. The 1mm² cable we supply is suitable for this length, the minimum loop length when 1mm cable is used is 12 metres. Once installed, hearing aids can be switched to the 'T' or 'MT' position which will allow it to pick up the electromagnetic field created by the loop amplifier. Any person with a hearing aid in or around the loop will then be able to hear any announcements made.
