DVI Monitor Cables - DVI-A DVI-D DVI-I

DVI stands for digital video interface. DVI is quite a complex connector and there are 3 different types of connectors your equipment may have: DVI-A analogue, DVI-D digital, DVI-I digital and analogue. You should find this information out before selecting a DVI cable from our range, as not all are compatible with one another. Our connections explained page has a picture showing the different types of connections so you can quickly work out which one you have. DVI-D digital signals are very similar to HDMI, meaning HDMI is compatible with DVI-D and DVI-I. DVI-A is very similar to VGA, meaning VGA is compatible with DVI-A analogue and DVI-I.
