Gold Plated Banana Plugs
- Solid metal - 24 carat (24 K) gold plating.
- These banana plugs don’t have a lacquer protection because they do not need it (gold will not tarnish). Also, 24 carat gold achieves better conductivity when lacquer is not in use and produces a better signal. Banana plugs also help prevent corrosion and deterioration of existing speaker wire.
- The banana plugs will connect up to 5mm diameter speaker wire. The overall length of the banana plug is 48mm and the pin is 14mm long. The pin is 4mm wide (like quoted in the title). Speaker cable can be connected easily through the side of the banana plug or through the top using a screw mechanism.
- The plugs can be stacked with existing 4mm banana plugs, on top of themselves or even from the side! All the banana plugs are colour coded so you can attach the negative wire (black) to the black banana plug and the positive wire (red) to the red banana plug.
