Type C HDMI Male to Type C HDMI Male

This cable is version 1.3B – Yes, you read that right, version 1.3B, the highest specification HDMI cable currently available! It transfers data at a speed of up to 10.2GB/s, pushing standards to the limits. Employs all current standards such as deep colour and xvYCC

HDMI lead supports - 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p resolutions.

Gas Injected Dielectric Material - This material is used for isolation, to keep the capacitance low and to maintain the signal strength and impedance across the cable.

Gold plated double moulded connectors – What’s the point in a high quality adapter if the signal is not transferred properly? The connectors on this cable are solid brass conductors with 24 carat gold plating. These cables don't have a lacquer protection because they do not need it (the gold will not tarnish). 24 carat gold achieves better conductivity when lacquer is not in use and provides a purer signal transfer. The double moulded connectors are more robust.

OFC – The lead is made using 99.99% oxygen free copper which increases the signal quality across the length of the cable. This generates a much purer signal.

HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) - This lead is compatible with content scrambling used in current equipment, such as TVs.

Type of Connector used - Both the connectors used are type C. The ‘Type’ stands for the size of connector used and the amount of pins it has. Type C is backwards compatible with type A and has the same number of pins (19).

Cable strain relief to protect the cable - Enables the HDMI lead to be bent in a multitude of directions without breaking, unlike many poorer quality HDMI leads sold by different companies.

Function - These cables were designed to transfer high-bandwidth (large data content) of 100% uncompressed digital video and multi channel digital audio and control functions. Type C cables are commonly used with newer HD camcorders.

HDMI cables are digital! – Due to this cable being digital and not analogue, attenuation, (loss of quality), is minimal over large distances due to the all or nothing principal that is used in digital technology. Therefore the quality produced by a 5 metre cable won’t differ from a 1.5m cable.
